The STI Shadow is a compact .40 S&W 1911 pistol designed for discreet carry and backup use. Its forged aluminum officer-length frame keeps weight down while the stippled front strap, ultra-thin G10 grips, and high-rise beavertail grip safety support a secure hold. The 3.24-inch fully supported ramped bull barrel is paired with STI's RecoilMaster guide rod system and a single-action trigger system. Fixed two-dot tritium night sights are recessed into the round-top slide for low-light visibility and snag-resistant carry. A single-sided thumb safety, bobbed commander hammer, lowered ejection port, and integral sight channel complete the compact configuration.
