The STI International The Edge is a competition-focused 2011-style pistol that combines the familiar controls and handling characteristics of the 1911 design with a high-capacity double-stack magazine system. Its modular steel frame uses a glass-filled polymer grip to maintain a 1911-style grip angle while providing an 11+1 capacity in .45 ACP. The five-inch fully supported, ramped bull barrel is designed for consistent performance, while the long slide features front and rear cocking serrations. A competition front sight and adjustable rear sight support precise target acquisition. The pistol also includes a high-ride beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous stainless-steel thumb safeties.
