Gun came in a timely...
Gun came in a timely manner. Thought it had fixed sights though, my fault not buds. Kept it for a year then sold it for something more compact.

This is my first .40....
This is my first .40. I wanted this model since it the same ergonomics of the Beretta 92 plus it has decocker. The gun is well built. Everything looks smooth and works well. I found the safety/decocker level a little too flimsy. The metal is thin and looks like plastic. But it does it's job well. I ran 100 rounds of the Winchester 165gr FMJ. It ran flawlessly without any hitch. I was grouping very well at 2-3" at 15 yards. The kick was very manageable. Allow me to compare the recoil. I would rate my XD9' recoil at 4/10, my SIg SAuer P220 in .45 at 5/10, my Bersa Thunder .380 at 3/10 and this PT101 at 5/10. I did notice alot of "chippping" on the slide just behind the extractor after shooting. I can only assume that the chipping was from the empty casings hitting it. I will be replacing this as my HS weapon.
