The Taurus 1911-AL is a lightweight .45 ACP pistol that combines the familiar full-size 1911 layout with an aluminum frame for easier carry. Its five-inch barrel, custom-fit barrel and bushing, polished feed ramp, and lowered and flared ejection port support reliable operation. The pistol features front and rear slide serrations, a skeletonized hammer, skeletonized trigger, checkered frontstrap and mainspring housing, an extended magazine release, and a beveled magazine well. An ambidextrous thumb safety and beavertail grip safety with memory pad provide classic 1911 controls and handling.

I purchased the Taurus PT1911AL 45 acp....... Don't believe the naysayers......The stock Taurus is a better shooter than my Gold Cup or Kimber Coustom. As usual Buds can't be beat on service and price.

I have had this...
I have had this firearm for more than 3 years, and have put more than 7000 rounds thought it with out any complications. The finish on the slide does wear when carried alot but that is to be expected. Over all I love this gun and have no conplaints. I know that this gun will do its job whenever I call it to. Thank you buds for a great deal

I love the gun, it came in very dirty like it's been used, after contacting buds i found out Taurus always ship their guns that way , after a good cleaning i took it to the range and put 150 rounds of Winchester 45ACP FMJ not a single mil-function awesome gun i'll be buying another soon.
