The Taurus 1911-ALR is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a lightweight aluminum frame and an integrated accessory rail. Its single-action 1911 operating system combines a crisp skeletonized trigger, skeletonized hammer, custom-fit barrel, polished feed ramp, and fitted slide-to-frame design. Serrations at the front and rear of the slide support positive manipulation, while the ambidextrous manual safety and beavertail grip safety provide familiar 1911 controls. Checkering on the frontstrap, mainspring housing, and trigger guard enhances control, and the package includes two 8-round magazines.
