The Taurus 24/7 OSS is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built around a single-action/double-action trigger system. Its second-strike capability allows the shooter to attempt ignition again if a primer fails to fire. A 5.25-inch match-grade barrel supports practical accuracy, while the stainless steel guide rod and heavy recoil spring contribute to smooth cycling and controlled rapid fire. The aggressively checkered polymer grip provides a secure hold, and the ambidextrous decocker and manual safety support cocked-and-locked or double-action carry. Fixed three-dot sights, a reversible magazine release, and a slide-mounted SA/DA indicator complete the practical duty-oriented configuration.
