The Taurus GX4 XL T.O.R.O. is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol with an extended slide that provides a longer sight radius and supports improved practical accuracy. Its direct-mount optics-ready slide accommodates popular micro red-dot optics, including the Shield RMSc and Holosun HS507K X2 footprints. A fixed white-dot front sight and blackout steel serrated drift-adjustable rear sight provide a clear sighting system when an optic is not installed. The polymer grip frame features a slight palm swell, and the included high-swell backstrap lets users select a higher wrist position for a more natural point of aim.

After reading reviews I purchased the Taurus GX4 XL T.O.RO. last month (Feb 2025). The accuracy was impressive and the recoil was controllable. I had good groupings for a handgun that size. The trigger pull was very nice, coming in at a little over 4lbs. I purchased the "pinky" extensions for the magazines-they work great! I really like the "blacked out" rear sight-I can acquire the target faster. Takedown is the easiest I have ever seen-pull the trigger then insert the black mini "gun" tool in the slot on the right side of the slide and turn a 1/4 turn and the slide releases. ("gun" tool comes in the case) In conclusion, I believe the Taurus GX4 XL T.O.R.O. will become a best seller.
