Factory standard models use a transfer-bar safety and firing-pin block rather than an external manual, ambidextrous, grip, or trigger safety. Great Gun. Looks fine...
Great Gun. Looks fine to me. No obvious blemishes I can see. With that said, I was initially a bit upset when picking it up at the FFL. I called prior to purchasing to inquire about what a "blemish" means and after nearly an hour was told it could vary but was a minor cosmetic thing. So, I ordered one. I specifically asked if it was "new" and was assured it was. But, my gun came in a box marked as follows: "FACTORY RECONDITIONED, PLEASE NOTE: THIS TAURUS HANDGUN HAS BEEN FACTORY RECONDITIONED. IT CONTINUES TO CARRY THE EXCLUSIVE TAURUS FUNCTIONAL LIFETIME REPAIR POLICY. HOWEVER, THIS UNIT IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY FOR ANY COSMETIC BLEMISHES OR DEFECTS." I'm not going to debate what is "new" with respect to "FACTORY RECONDITIONED", but do think that the term should be referenced on the posting to avoid any confusion. Hopefully my review will serve to clarify and help to avoid anyone being ticked off as I was.......initially. It's a very nice gun and have now mounted the Sun Optics CLFC3S Laser/ Light Combo. I
