Out of the box i was...
Out of the box i was very impressed with the Craftsmanship of my new PT 1911 with the Bulls Head Walnut grips. Took it out to the range and after 200 Rnds, noticed that the hammer didnt want to release when the trigger was pulled, and trust me the safety was not on!!. Just thought maybe the Firearm needed some break-in. Now after cleaning a few times and 400 rnds, i am noticing wear marks in the bluing on the right front lower section of the slide, However none on the lower left side of the slide. Figure that one out? Anyways, I've carried this 2x and have started to notice small marks on the finish. Shoots pretty nice, i guess i just have a higher expectation of how a A$600.00 tool should look like in a very short time of carry. Jon P.
