Product Overview
The Taurus PT92 is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a durable aluminum-alloy frame and stainless slide and frame finish. Its double-action/single-action system provides a long first trigger pull followed by a shorter single-action reset. The ambidextrous frame-mounted safety also serves as a decocker, allowing the pistol to be carried in cocked-and-locked mode or safely decocked. A loaded chamber indicator, Picatinny accessory rail, fixed 3-dot sights, black polymer grips, and a 17+1 capacity make this pistol well suited to range use and home-defense applications.

I really wanted to...
I really wanted to like this gun but there was definitely trigger issues. I thought the single action trigger pull should have been much better and it was not consistent. Another strange thing was in order to use the decocker, I had to use both thumbs to complete the action. I could not get any kind of grouping because of the stout trigger. I own 4 other Taurus pistols and enjoy them. I sold this pistol about two weeks after buying it and bought a Beretta 92x. These issues are not present with it.

Beautifully made gun....
Beautifully made gun. All metal polished stainless steel. Have about 250 rds. through it without a single malfunction. Accuracy is great now. Initially wasn't so good for the first 100 so it did need a little break-in time. It cleans up easily and is super easy to disassemble / re-assemble. I have both the basic blued PT92 and the SS model and would count these as my two favorites. I would definitely recommend this gun
