I have been a member of the shooting society for over thirty years and have owned many handguns made by many manufacturer's. I am aware of the fact that Taurus weapons receive a lot of negative press and reviews, however, I currently own five handguns from Taurus, the latest addition is the TH-40. I am happy to say that this weapon did not disappoint. The textured grip panels provide a solid purchase and the pistol fits and feels secure. It shoots accurately right out of the box and I had no failures when breaking it in. The ergonomics are excellent and the fit and finish of this pistol are clean and attractive. In my opinion this is a well made weapon at a very affordable price and I would highly recommend this pistol to anyone wanting to add a 40cal. to their collection.

Excellant service from buds. I took it out the box, inspected it and wiped off the access oil from shipping. I then loaded a magazine with 14 rounds and rapid fired it. It ran flawless. Its a good looking and feeling gun. It feels like it should cost twice as much. I got the grey and black and now want the other colors. I just wish they made extended magazines but they are kind of pointless. It came with two magazines, two tools, two extra grips, a lock, speed loader and a hard case. Very presentable. There is also a $25 rebate from taurus im about to try.

I had a Taurus PT145...
I had a Taurus PT145 compact before and absolutely loved it. I purchased the TH40 with a 4-1/2 inch barrel only because I wanted a tighter pattern when target practicing. I love the new features it has like the single/double action with the click down safety to un-cock the weapon when it is still chambered. The recoil is smooth and love the tigger pull weight. Not too hard and not light. Juuuust right! Still has the "loaded indicator", but the ONLY disappointment was no onboard safety lock. It came with two triangle keys which has no purpose instructions. Not a sale killer though. The magazines are loose when installed and rattle when shaken. I simply took some black electrical tape and taped the base of the magazine on the outside once and now it is perfect. The tape holds beautifully after several loadings. \r I just love the gun. And this was the first time ever buying a gun online and Bud's Gun Shop did a fantastic job in every way. The website was easy to navigate, the order was delivered on the date it was promised, the gun came in perfect condition with TWO MAGAZINES, the delivery updates by email were great, and most important to me was THE PRICE!! For it to be my first experience I recommend Bud's to anyone! And already have. \r Thanks Bud's!! I'll be back very soon and would jump at the chance at being your Spokesperson!!
