The Tisas 1911 D10 is a full-size 10mm semi-automatic pistol built around a forged stainless steel frame and a five-inch hammer-forged barrel. Its forged slide features front and rear cocking serrations, while the lowered and flared ejection port supports reliable operation. A 25 LPI checkered front strap, matching flat mainspring housing, and G10 target grips provide a secure, controlled hold. The pistol uses Series 70 internals and an ambidextrous manual safety. Its Bomar-cut LPA adjustable rear sight and serrated black front sight provide a precise iron-sight setup for range use and practical shooting. The package includes two magazines, a cleaning kit, an owner’s manual, and a waterproof lockable hard case with fitted foam.

Don't let the name...
Don't let the name Tisas or the country of manufacture scare you away from this gun This 1911 in 10mm is an absolute tack driver. At 15 yards I easily hold 2-3" groups with Hornady Critical Defense JHP ammo. The action is smooth, not $4,000 smooth, but well above the $600 price point. The trigger is consistent and breaks nicely. Recoil is more than manageable thanks to the heft. Ergonomically, I love it. The grips look and feel great. The stipling on the frame keeps your hand(s) where they need to be while firing. This is now my go to gun for sidearm carry in the woods, replacing my .44 magnum. My only complaint is the action requires pulling the hammer back before firing, so not a true double/single. I'm sure I could have it modified, but it works flawlessly as is. Overall, it's a five star gun for the price. You'll be hard pressed to find the same quality from a brand new 1911 elsewhere for $600. Give it a try. You won't be disapointed.
