The Tisas 1911 Service is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a traditional Government-size 1911 design. Its hammer-forged steel frame and slide are paired with a five-inch Colt-pattern hammer-forged barrel for a durable service configuration. The two-tone black and Patriot Brown Cerakote finish adds corrosion and wear resistance, while the flat mainspring housing and checkered grips provide a familiar, secure handling profile. A single-sided thumb safety and grip safety preserve the classic 1911 manual of arms.

This firearm is...
This firearm is dangerous, I have over 60 years shooting & have owned many a 1911, never had one double fire before. Also the grip safety sticks so in reality you have no safety, nothing's perfect so zero service from the manufacturer is NG. I'll take it to my gunsmith & have him 'hopefully' fix it, BTW have another 1911 in 9mm from same manufacture, works perfectly.

VERY pleased wityh both the external quality of this firearm as well as its smooth, problem-free functioning when I finally tried it out at the range last week. From all the reviews I've seen by various firearms analysts, I fully concur that these Tisas semi-autos are excellent pistolsand available at very competitve prices contrasted to many of the other older "name brand" weapons. I've had Colts, Kimbers, Kahrs, and Springfields in .45 caliber, and in my opinion these Tisas firearms are every bit as nice, or nicer, and certainly accurate at the range.
