The Tisas 1911A1 Tanker is a compact single-action .45 ACP pistol built on a steel frame and sized around a 4.25-inch barrel. Its manganese phosphate-coated steel slide and matte black frame provide a durable service-style finish, while the hammer-forged barrel receives a hard chrome coating for corrosion resistance. The pistol uses traditional A1 serrated front and rear sights, an 8+1 capacity, a beavertail grip safety, and a thumb-operated manual safety. Wood grips complete the classic 1911A1 appearance.

This 1911, despite the...
This 1911, despite the price, is very well built; the fit and finish are excellent. The wood grips give it a more elegant touch. I took it to the shooting range and had a few failures to feed (FTF) in the first 150 shots, even with Wilson Combat magazines. I'll take it again to see if it breaks in. This has happened to me with more expensive 1911s. If not, I'll contact Tisas regarding the warranty.
