The Volquartsen Black Mamba is a competition-focused .22 LR semi-automatic pistol built around a Ruger MK IV 22/45-style polymer frame and Volquartsen upgrades. This six-inch black configuration uses the LLV Competition Upper, combining a stainless steel barrel and breech with a lightweight aluminum shroud for match-grade accuracy without unnecessary bulk. The pistol includes an integral Picatinny rail on top and underneath for mounting an optic and accessories. A threaded muzzle comes fitted with a single-port compensator. Its DLC-coated Competition Bolt supports smooth cycling, while the Accurizing Kit provides a crisp 2.25-pound trigger pull. Push-button takedown simplifies maintenance and transport, and the enhanced magazine release and included magazine base pads help improve feeding reliability.

so far it is a new .22, less than 500 rds to judge. however, Budsgunshop was slow in processing the order after the FFL doc.

Absolutely love this...
Absolutely love this pistol. Recently bought a Hamden made histandards the victor Wich got me into more precision/target 22 pistols. Debated over this and a model 41 for a long time but held a older model 41 at my local gun shop and wasn't that impressed so gave this a shot and glad I did. Wasn't sure how I felt about the polymer frame but definitely makes it a very light pistol. If you do more speed shooting I'm sure you'll love it. If you prefer a little more weight like me I plan on adding a picatinny rail weight to help muzzle jump. So far it's been 100% reliable with cci standard velocity, eley target and club and cheaper fiocchi standard velocity and extremely accurate. At 15-20 yards can make a quarter sized hole with 10 rounds. If you're on the fence I'd say don't spend 6 months debating on Wich pistol to get like I did and just grab one. Highly doubt you'll be disappointed.
