A: From what I'm reading this handles standard velocity ammo just fine. People were saying with low velocity ammo or subsonic ammo they had occasional feeding issues but not with standard to high velocity ammo. If for some reason it won't feed properly they make upgraded recoil springs for lower velocity ammo for this pistol. Hope this helps.

A: Craig, standard velocity will cycle but not as reliable as high velocity ammunition. I highly recommend CCI and other high velocity loads that I found most reliable in my GSG Firefly. Cheers and stay safe!
