I have owned One other Walther pistol in my life. That was the Walther PDP compact. So if I had such amazing pistol why did I choose to buy this? Easy! I cant stand the American style of magazine release. Now internally, this is very much a walther PDP. They are so close in their DNA that I dare to say that the upper slides are interchangeable. Will they fire with swapped slides? I dont know, I don't plan to find out. Now I have to admit I havent fired this weapon so I will solely base the review on its internal and external build and looks. Trigger when on firestriker mode, Its the best out there! beats my PDP Classic Design remains intact. Aside of the "Final Edition" engraved on the slide, this is a very good, well polished and thought-out design. The grip isnt that great compared to what you would find on modern pistols, but it is still serviceable and will get the job done. Light weight Compact enough for Conceal Carry. the upper slide is tapered. ability to switch between double action and single. Paddle magazine release is pretty large, beats any HK ergonomically speaking. Decocking button. May nott be for everyone, but it is very functional and a very satisfying click when pressed. -On double action mode, the trigger length of pull and weight is pretty significant. I dont see anyone carrying it on double action. -No way to add sights natively.
