This is a beautifully...
This is a beautifully made handgun. I'd wanted to own a PPK for a long time but always shied away due to the price (compared to modern arms). Once production stopped I decided to make the commitment, and I'm happy I did. The .32 ACP feels right for this handgun, with mild recoil, smooth operation, and plenty accurate at short range. I fired my first 100 rounds (Winchester white box) at the range and had one FTF in the first few shots, and one FTE later during rapid fire. One big disappointment... when disassembling the gun for cleaning, removal of the recoil spring scratched the barrel, pretty deeply. I was able to polish out some of the scratch but it was deep enough that some of it remains. I don't know how the spring is installed in manufacturing without it causing scratches, but at least in my case its removal surely did!
