The Walther WMP is a lightweight .22 WMR semi-automatic pistol designed for comfortable handling, outdoor use, and dependable rimfire performance. Its 4.5-inch barrel and ergonomic polymer grip help provide controllable, low-recoil shooting, while the optics-ready slide supports the installation of a compatible red dot sight. The patented Quad Release system provides four ambidextrous magazine-release activation points through paddle and button controls. A trigger safety, fiber optic sights, and easy field stripping complete a practical setup for training, recreation, and small-game applications. The pistol includes two magazines and two optic adapter plates.

The WMP, what a fantastic firearm. I am a large man with large hands. It fits my grip perfectly. I have fired several hundred rounds through it with no feeding issues with several different ammo types. That big ball of flame at report is a head turner at the range. Fast ship and great deal. I have experienced no issues with this pistol. Ergonomics and ease of disassembly for field maintenance make it a pleasure to shoot and clean afterwards. I did have an issue with the magazine. When fully loaded, the first couple rounds did not feed properly, and I assumed this was due to a weak magazine spring. This was corrected with the addition of another spring of the same size, but only 1'" long mated to the main spring with both anchored to the magazine base plate hub. It's great to have a Walther .22 WMR to plink at the range!

This is my favorite...
This is my favorite .22 magnum semi auto pistol. Very easy to shoot accurately with hardly any recoil. Other than not having much in the way of recoil it feels like you're shooting a larger caliber, you get the loud boom and big fireball. This makes it a great pistol for a new shooter to learn on. All the bark and none of the bite on the shooters hands.
