The Talley 2-piece Mauser 98 Picatinny scope rail system is machined from high-grade 7000 series aluminum alloy and protected with hard-coat anodizing rated to 65 Rockwell. The rail setup is designed to use the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny mounting standard while avoiding overbridging the action, making top-loading and receiver access easier.
