Hornady Super Shock Tip (SST) .308 diameter bullets use a red polymer tip to shift the bullet’s center of gravity for improved in-flight stability and consistency. On impact, the SST polymer tip initiates rapid expansion, with jacket features designed to control how the bullet opens for effective terminal performance.
Key Features
- Quick, controlled expansion for consistent terminal results
- Red polymer tip improves ballistic coefficient for greater stability and accuracy
- Optimized for reloading with .308 diameter, 125 grain bullets
- Jacket design uses inner grooves and an interlock ring to help manage expansion and mushrooming

This has been my gold...
This has been my gold standard in reloading. I keep these loaded and they shoot sub MOA. If my other rounds do not compare in similar shooting conditions, I know I have work to do.
