Original order was...
Original order was made in late September 2025. Upon arrival at local gun store, it was discovered that the cylinder latch would not operate. Did not transfer into my possession. . Contacted Bud's and a return shipping label was promptly supplied. Upon arrival back at Bud's a new revolver was promptly sent my my local gun store. This revolver appeared to be functioning correctly so the ATF transfer forms were processed. Upon further inspection at home this revolver was also defective. When the trigger was pulled, the spurless hammer would retract slightly before falling back flush with the frame. further trigger movement completely operated the trigger. Sometimes the trigger would not move at all. Charter was contacted and a repair/return shipping label was issued. Revolver was sent back to Charter. Repaired revolver arrived early November. This revolver appears to operating correctly. Paperwork shows that the trigger, hammer, and cylinder were replaced.

This gun has been a nightmare. It is currently back at the factory for the second time. The cylinder notches were cut too far forward, barely catching the cylinder stop. I've requested a replacement cylinder. The trigger was also malfunctioning and causing lockups. Charter seems to have some serious quality control issues in 2024. Not acceptable at all.

Would not recommend, pitted all over, grips falling off, had to super glue grips together. In essence the gun is falling apart.
