I'll preface this...
I'll preface this review by stating that I am a Single Six owner so that the reader has proper context. This little Chiappa as a number of things going for it. The first thing that I noticed was the heavy build. It almost seems overbuilt for a .22. The cylinder is centerfire size. The grips are nice for a gun this price. I was most pleasantly surprised by the trigger. While it ain't no Ruger, the trigger is surprisingly smooth and breaks pretty cleanly. As far as accuracy is concerned, while I'm no marksman, it seems to shoot to point of aim when I get my technique correct. The finish of the gun is ok for this price point. As for the negatives, one thing I noticed is that the cylinder has noticeably more slop in the play than I'm used to. The cylinder tended to get hung up and move stiffly upon extracting the spent casings. That may improve with break in. As for the extractor itself, it seems a little on the flimsy side-more like a wire than a rod. I would like a broader trigger for a better feel and purchase. All in all I think the gun is a good value for the price paid. I'll probably shoot it until it dies.
