Chiappa White Rhino Grade 2 5-Inch .40 S&W Brushed Electroless Nickel Revolver

I like this revolver!...

I like this revolver! It is uncommon, shoots well, DA trigger is pretty good, with smooth, reasonable trigger pull weight for a stock gun. Cocking for SA is heavy/stiff. The un is light for its size. I have not benched it yet, but accuracy appears good from casual practice and I adjusted the POI a few clicks then used it effectively in a recent pistol match. Holsters are a PITA to find, the kydex belt holster sold at Chiappa website is made by Ghost, is as good as any kydex holster out there, and is overpriced but available. The Chiappa moonclips work better with different mfg cases than the Ranch moonclips for me. R-P cases work best, Speer cases seem OK in the Chiappa clips but not in the Ranch clips. Winchester cases tend to be a PITA for my gun. The wood grip looks fine but hot .,40 ammo kind of stings the hand and gets tiresome in extended shooting, not an issue for a few clips. OTOH, mild .40 is a delight to shoot. Overalll, 4 of 5 stars. I wish the wood grip was not squared corners in the finger area, it should cock with less effort, and aftermarket holsters/grips are not easy to find. It shoots well, DA trigger pull is good, it is cool, and accuracy appears at least adequate but probably is very good.
