Incredibly beautiful...
Incredibly beautiful work and very high quality revolver. The finish is a beautiful stainless steel and the feel is balanced. Extremely easy to load clean. A true work of art and more than worth the price. If you can find one, and love shooting revolvers of the past, this is one you want to have in your collection. Thank you Bud's for offering these unique guns!

Cimarron and Uberti...
Cimarron and Uberti created something special in this gun. I actually only bought this because it looked interesting, and I was buying an 1875 which was excellent as well. This 1858 in stainless is actually a piece of art, it is absolutely beautiful and the fit and finish is perfect. The stainless is not to bright and flashy (like chrome), but looks correct for a gun of that period (if they did stainless then), polishes up nice and its equally as nice on all parts, not just the ones visible when fully assembled. Wood looks excellent and fits perfect. Everything functions flawlessly, lock up and timing are impeccable, hammer is a little tight but smooth and trigger was an excellent surprise with extremely smooth and surprisingly short travel. EXTREMLY easy to shoot and very accurate once you learn your placement of sites, 2-inch group at 10 yards and we went through about 150 rounds and never a hiccup or any problems other than everyone at the range asking us what we were shooting. Extremely easy to clean and everything cleaned up as new and now this is probably my favorite revolver even over the Colts. I have never seen a revolver like this and I would recommend that if you are a serious shooter, love things of old and yesterday, and appreciate the past, then this is a must have. Thank you Buds for offering this and thank you Cimarron for recreating something that most people would never know existed. And my Cimarron collection will keep growing from Buds!
