Second Set These are...
Second Set These are the second pair of 72 Open Tops that I've purchased for CAS. The first set were 5 1/2" 38 Spl and this set 4 3/4" 45 Colt. The first set had some issues out of the box that had to be corrected. The main thing that Uberti's are notorious for are incorrect arbor length (to short). This set of pistols were much better out of the box. The arbors are correct, the bolts fit the cylinder notches snug and the wedges were fitted correctly but they are still a little rough inside. These pistols will only need lighter springs and a little stone work and they will be match ready. Comparing the two sets, I can see that Uberti has made a lot of improvements in manufacturing the Open Top revolvers. These are nice guns and so much fun to shoot.
