This is my fourth...
This is my fourth Cimarron revolver of Pietta/Uberti manufacture, and it is a beautifully made piece - and certainly lives up to their reputations in the firearms industry. The workmanship is exact and the engraving and nickel plating (while not normally what I look for in a firearm) are beautiful. The only drawback are the grips. While they are made to look like ivory, they do not truly replicate Patton's Colt .45. The "GSP" initials are light, but this can be corrected, and the other grip does not have the eagle of the original. I am currently looking for grips with an accurate representation of the eagle. If you are looking for a beautifully engraved and nickel plated Colt .45, this is your choice. If you are looking for a clone of Patton's Colt .45, it will take a little more work to get it there - BUT I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN!
