To my mind, the most...
To my mind, the most important thing to consider when buying a reproduction is the manufacturer. This gun is made by Uberti, which I consider one of the best. This gun looks, feels, and shoots very close to a genuine Colt SAA of which I own several. There are some differences, but they are minor. At the price point that Bud's offers this product, you really can't go wrong. I own several of these revolvers, and I have had no trouble with them. If you want one(and they are available), buy one. I think you'll be glad you did.

Looks exactly like the originals. Has a hammer/firing pin safety built into the hammer (no exposed transfer safety bar like modern revolvers) so it has only 2 hammer clicks instead of 3 like the originals. A very fun revolver to shoot. 38 WCF has a medium recoil.
