My opinion of my new...
My opinion of my new Cimarron Old Model P / Uberti Cattleman in mostly positive. Fit and finish are pretty good, as are the case colors. Immediately ordered a Wolff spring kit as the factory ones were about twice as stout as need be. Front of the cylinder unfortunately isn't beveled quite as much as originals and the "blue" finish on the barrel and cylinder are more of a plain black. I do appreciate the coil spring powered hand, as the traditional hand spring was usually the first thing to break.Shoots about 7" left at 50 yards, so I'll need to get the barrel screwed in just a tad more, which is common and fine. Hits dead on vertically. Timing is fine and the action is not rough like a lot of imports even though it's new and hasn't been worn in yet. For the money, I'm happy with it. Had much worse.
