This is beautiful 45!...
This is beautiful 45! I was a little surprised that it was not as well made as my other Pietta's but still well built. I purchased it for myself as a Christmas gift, but my wife did contribute some of the funds for it. I do not shoot it much because it is more of a keepsake than range weapon. I have other 45 Long Colts for that. Purchase one I think you will love this gun as much as I do.

Cimarron Roosevelt .45...
Cimarron Roosevelt .45 colt .... The listing photo for this revolver fails to show how beautiful this gun really is ... This is a Pietta built gun and it has a 4 click hammer as opposed to the Uberti's with there 3 click transfer bar. This gun has no transfer bar and you should load it with only 5 rounds leaving the empty bore slot under the firing pin if your going to carry it around. At the range I load it with 6 round keeping the barrel in the direction of the target, my first 12 rounds in this revolver (today) went well all 12 rounds in an 8 inch group at 35ft, I also brought my Rossi .45 colt Lever action rifle, way less recoil than a .45 hand gun, however comparing the Roosevelt .45 to my Texas Ranger .45 with a 4.75 inch barrel, the roosevelt with it's 7.5 inch barrel is heavier there for the recoil is manageable shooting it with a two-hand grip. I have 3 Pietta's and 3 Uberti's in all different calibers along with my lever action rifles they make for an interesting collection on the wall. thanks ...
