This a beautiful gun....
This a beautiful gun. It is really a piece of art, so much so that I purchased ammo to fire it at the range but couldn't bring myself to shoot it because it's so damn pretty. Barcode is visible on the frame forward of the trigger but below the cylinder, but not that big of deal but whoever put there is an idiot. I purchased a 3" Python .357 combat elite prior to this purchase and spent some time with the range and the trigger action and barrel spin are nearly identical so I know it will fire like my Python which is a great shooting revolver.

I bought two of these...
I bought two of these because the Colt Anaconda, with its historical significance and modern improvements makes it a valuable addition to any collection! And also the fact that they only made 250 of them for the entire world. The engraving looks excellent and the grip is really unique. It does come with a standard Houge rubber grip but who would ever use it? I truly just picked these two up for collecting purposes and they will become safe queens.The mechanics and fit are top notch. Like all the new Colts the Anaconda is noted for its excellent accuracy, hitting where expected and performing well in tests. The 8-inch barrel offers increased velocity and accuracy for long-range shooting, which is beneficial for hunting. I have several hundred Colts in my collection and these two stand out in the top ten for sure. The price was $2,999.99 each but I found them on sale for $1,600.00 each and that's the real reason I got two of them. Ideal for killing burglars hiding behind the fridge...at your neighbors house!
