Leave it to Colt to...
Leave it to Colt to once again impress me. I was gifted a Colt 45 1911 and that is a pleasure to shoot. Because I live in Alaska I wanted at least a 44 Mag to carry around while I hike and fish. I came across the Colt Kodiak on Buds. Fell in love with the look but because I have small hands I wanted to hold it to see. I went to a local shop which had one and man, the grip size, the feel and the balance were spot on. It seemed a little heavy but that helped in stabilizing my shots later on. I almost bought it but couldn't get as good a deal as Buds. Once I receive it, I put a bunch of rounds through it. It has the same kick as my 1911 and needless to say, I am overly impressed. Now I'm looking at their 357 Grizzly. I'm sold on Colt. Spoiler alert, I am originally from CT, so my opinion may be slightly biased.😉
