Nice little pistol. I...
Nice little pistol. I was impressed with how accurate the 22 LR are. Changing cylinder is not bad but can be a little bit challenging. With a little practice it becomes easier. I seem to have best results with a blunted toothpick. Although it may not be the best 22 revolver in the world, I find nothing about it to merit any complaints. Would I recommend to my friends and family, YES. However if you only want 22 LR without a magnum option, a SAA might be a better choice and easier on the pocket book. For double action, this is the way to go. The 22 Magnum was not quite as accurate as the 22 LR, but I only tried one type of ammo. Different ammo might give better results.

This brings back old...
This brings back old memories of shooting the Double 9 High Standard. Very similar in function. Still breaking it in. But this one has the option of being able to swapping out the cylinder for 22 Mag. And shooting the 22 Mag is just a breeze. Just got to be careful of the spring when swapping it out or you'll be fishing for it after it pops out. It's a lot of fun at the range. And there is a speed loader for this out there as well. That's next for me.

First of all - Buds is...
First of all - Buds is always awesome - quick shipping to my FFL and good updates throughout the shipping process. I own several .22 revolvers, but most are single action so I thought it might be good to try a double action. The ability to add a .22 magnum cylinder was a plus. However, I am not impressed at all with this firearm. It has good weight and balance but the trigger is about the worst I have fired, especially double action. Mine shot about 3" to the right at 10 yards, which unfortunately, cannot be adjusted. Nothing in this pistol is smooth and I will tell you for the price, the single action Heritage revolvers I own are much smoother for about half the price (if you are looking for a budget .22 revolver). After about 2 weeks and 3 trips to the range, I have already traded the Diamondback on a proper double action revolver (S&W 617). I will certainly continue to buy from Buds!
