The .22LR/22WMR Bounty...
The .22LR/22WMR Bounty Hunter I received is perfect….Very tight cylinder lockup, front sight is dead on, trigger is crisp. EAA Bounty Hunter triggers are centered and wider than Italian Clone models and the transfer bar is made to last all 100% steel. I read in another review that this is an identical size as the Bounty Hunter big bores, just it's chambered for .22 so I was a little reluctant to buy at first…..I can assure everyone it is not identical in size though it is a heavy all steel revolver……... I own a Bounty Hunter in 44M and I attached photo comparisons side by side indicating size difference….. I bought the 6 shot cylinder version, it is a 2 click hammer model….It is still very much a full sized SA revolver, more in line with the size of a Uberti 357m, I have not yet handled a 357 Bounty Hunter…... This .22 is a little more narrow than the big bore 44 guns, the top strap is slightly more narrow, and 1/8" shorter as well……. The heavy materials are the same type steel, the outside barrel diameters are identical, and the grips are definitely identical and interchangeable……The bluing is shiny and dark, it's beautiful. It's not the polished steel and bluing of a 1980's era S&W, but shiny enough that I don't want to scratch it, it's still a mirror finish……It is probably the toughest .22 revolver in existence, another brand would not be more robust.……One thing a little different to me is the ejector rod locks to the rear "by design" on both the 44M and this 22WMR. The sliding tab is low profile to the barrel. I like that is isn't like a Mickey Mouse ear tab. The tab moves away from the barrel while under spring tension using a finger tip, then it returns forward fast and smooth, it's easy to use. The hammer is slightly lighter on the .22 compared to the big bore and the factory spring is a lighter pull on the .22. It's a seriously heavy duty well made.22, no regrets buying here. Definitely a keeper….

This isn't a...
This isn't a lightweight plinking gun... with a full-size frame and the longer barrel it is heavier, I think, than my Pietta 1873 in .357 mag. That said, it has about as much recoil as a water pistol... and is EXTREMELY easy to shoot well. Incidentally, fit and finish are quite good.
