A: Fit and finish is great. It is 'More Solidly" built and will handle the .44 Magnum round just fine. Most issues related to this pistol were more "Manufacturer" quality control issues than anything else(These should be more worked out now). The warranty and Customer Service would make this a winner "Given the price point" range. (You also have extra protection by purchasing the Buds Limited Lifetime Warranty as well).

A: Hi John, Eagle Grips, Tombstone grips and Western and Wildlife Wonders are all on par quality wise. You would just need to narrow down to your favorite set and order. They are all quality makers.

A: On both of my Bounty Hunters I've installed Wisner's medium strength Colt spring kits (available only from Brownells). The kit supplies replacements for the trigger/bolt spring and the mainspring. Replacing these springs reduces the trigger pull from 7 pounds to 5 pounds. While that isn't what I'd call light, it feels far better than the original spring.

A: Wolf springs will give you a hair trigger.

A: Hi there John. The closest match Wolff springs are going to be the Uberti set from Wolff. However, I have not used/installed a set to date. My instincts tell me this set will work, but I can not profess to be 100% sure. I would give EAA a call first to see if they carry a suitable "Parts Set" or if not, a recommendation on an aftermarket set such as Wolff.
