Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider .22 LR/.22 WMR Revolver, Black Standard, 6.5-inch Barrel, Cocobolo Grips

A: From what I have seen when researching this, it is denoting the combo with the 22LR and the 22 WMR cylinders. In the past, I've emailed the manufacturer and given them the UPC to double-check and it's always worked out in my benefit. Also, I just bought a single action 45, which I am really excited to get. If you pick up the Heritage, I would consider getting Buds lifetime warranty as Heritage only warranties their guns for 1 year...

A: Several other sites describe this RR22MB6 as Single action 22lr and 22wmr clyinders, 6.5" barrel, blued finish, wood grips, 6 round, fired case, 33.4oz, fixed sights, hammer block safety with red dot indicator, made in USA. Not sure why Heritage doesn't have this info?

A: The RR22MB6BX is a 6.5", in Blue with a Presentation Box Included. See Heritage Manufacturing catalog: http://www.heritagemfg.com/pdf/heritage-catalog2017.pdf

A: Yes, it comes with a 22LR cylinder and a 22Magnum cylinder as a combo.

A: Hi Orlando, this is a CA Roster exempt firearm and should be no issues getting it in CA.

A: *This model does not meet requirements for melting point laws.

A: not a lot you can do I would contact Heritage and ask them for help Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966

A: The sights will have to be re-worked Rustin to correct this Rustin. If your front sight is straight, then fire a series of shots to see what part of your V-notch rear (in relation to your front sight) causes it to fire straight and mark it. This will tell you or a gunsmith where the front sight post will have to be adjusted for straight shooting. Also. Heritage Arms may resolve this for you at their Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966

A: I Suggest trading it in and purchasing this Rough Rider 22 Combo 6.5" Blue Fiber Optic Sight 9 Round MFR #: RR22999MB6AS Its out of stock in Buds inventory (wish List) but other stores have it in stock if you do a internet search. If you do not want to do this the only option is to slightly bend the front sight, not the best thing to do but that could correct the shooting to the left ,your local gunsmith could help you do this with damaging the revolver. The height issue is probably operator error.

A: Hi Rustin, No these sights are not adjustable. You would need to have a gunsmith do this but then it probably wouldn't be 100%, I would call Heritage Arms to see if they can fix this for you at their Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966

A: Hi Jared, Yes the 9 round cylinder will work fine.

A: no it would not just think of it this way the cylinder would be the same size with More chambers ( closer together) the revolver is designed so that the cylinder rotates the correct (fixed) amount from one chamber to the next and align it with the barrel and firing pin (on the original 6 round cylinder) if you changed to a cylinder with 9 chambers it would over rotate and the chambers would not align with the barrel and firing pin.

A: Hi Jared, Unfortunately No it would not just think of it this way the cylinder would be the same size with More chambers ( closer together) the revolver is designed so that the cylinder rotates the correct (fixed) amount from one chamber to the next and align it with the barrel and firing pin (on the original 6 round cylinder) if you changed to a cylinder with 9 chambers it would over rotate and the chambers would not align with the barrel and firing pin.

A: It would not work Jared. The "Timing" built into the cylinder rotational mechanism is totally different from the 6rd cylinders' "Timing". The bullet in the cylinder would not line up with the barrel or the hammer and the pistol would not be fire-able.
