The smooth DAO trigger delivers a consistent 9.5 to 10 pound pull without the external hammer profile of a traditional exposed-hammer revolver. Fixed 3-dot sights support straightforward target acquisition, and the composite grip provides a secure, carry-friendly interface. The revolver also accepts .38 Special and .38 Special +P ammunition.

I have to say I am...
I have to say I am 100% satisfied with the weapon. When you pick it up out of the box it has the feel of a finely tooled piece of machinery. I gave it an initial cleaning and oiled the cylinder and I have to say I have never seen such a smooth action compared to any of my revolvers. The fit in the hand it perfect and it has a little heft to it. I have not shot the revolver yet and would anticipate recoil with a .357 load to be stout with a more pleasant feel for .38 Special. The thin profile of the cylinder that holds 6 rounds is quite impressive. Lastly the flat black color along with the green and black grips look amazing. Well done Kimber, I would highly recommend.
