This is my first BFR...
This is my first BFR revolver, overall, I would say that I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the Gun. Below I will list my pro and cons of the gun;\r Pro:\r - Excellent fit and finish, from what I have seen recently, BFR puts what Ruger and S&W are putting out to shame. When it comes to revolvers, Ruger and S&W should be ashamed with their QC with some, not all, of what they allow out of their factories. This was the main reason why I went with BFR after sending a 500 S&W back for QC issues.\r -Recoil is surprisingly manageable with 325 and 400gr rounds.\r -Grip is excellent. \r - The gun is spot on accurate. \r - Lock up is as tight as I have ever seen.\r \r Cons:\r -While I do love the gun, I did send it back to BFR. You could not see it with the naked eye, but, the gun had a burr that prevented the cylinder from turning when loaded with five rounds. BFR paid for rush shipping in both directions and had it back to me in three weeks. So excellent customer service and kudos to BFR. \r - The front sight, for me, was hard to see as it is solid black. BFR sells a replacement fiber optic and it made all the difference, unfortunately it costs $35.00 to replace. BFR should put that sight on the gun from the factory for what this gun costs. \r \r As always, Buds was great and I WILL be buying from them in the future.
