Well...it is a pretty...
Well...it is a pretty gun. It has one problem-it does not work. \\r\ \\r\ The very first time I pulled the trigger on a .22 magnum target round I got a "click." And for the next hundred rounds, about half failed to light. ALL of the "dud" rounds fired on the first hammer strike in my S&W .22 mag revolver. When I emailed NAA, the first response was, well, an explanation of the tolerances of the Ranger II. The tolerances make it ammo sensitive. Apparently the poor thing is so delicate it has a very small window of functioning. If that is true, this is nothing but a range toy.\\r\ \\r\ Oh...that star ejector that is supposed to rise up as you open the break top and make unloading the empty cases easy? It does not work. The entire cylinder rises up instead.\\r\ \\r\ They say they will fix it. But if the basic design is a contributor to the malfunctioning-they can't really fix it.\\r\ \\r\ I like NAA revolvers-I have a traditional design that works fine on .22 LR or magnum cylinders. But this design? No.\\r\ \\r\
