I've wanted a Ruger...
I've wanted a Ruger Bisley Flattop 44 for some time. Even considered the conversion route. But this one was available at a great price so I jumped. What I got was the best revolver to exit Ruger. The action is tight as well as the joining of all frame parts together. The brushed stainless is uniform. No shiney spots or raw edges.. Just well done. And it's accurate.

THE TRANSACTION: This...
THE TRANSACTION: This was my fourth purchase from Bud's. Besides their price point, I have come to value Bud's service: sending confirmation emails at key steps during the payment/fulfillment/shipping cycle. Likewise, the transfer of the revolver at my local FFL was a very smooth process. THE GUN: Have been looking at purchasing a 4-5/8" barrel "Bisley" in.44 Special for the past 6 months or so. As in previous purchases of Ruger® pistols/revolvers, I find the fit, finish, construction, and function of this revolver to be excellent. However, with this revolver in particular, the base pin is difficult to extract (for cylinder removal), and the loading gate rotation is rather heavy; nothing that a judicial application of 600 grit paper won't remedy. Other than this, I really enjoy shooting this revolver .... have put 200 rounds of hand loads thru it thus far.
