A: Military discount counts Stephen. You can create your own 180 layaway by simply saving for 90 days and then putting this pistol on the standard 90 layaway. You will have your pistol in the same 180 days.

A: The Blackhawk does not use moon clips I have this gun. It uses a cylinder bored for .45acp (comes with 2 cylinders 45 lc and 45acp)

A: No moon clips required as this head spaces off the case mouth and not the rim in the 45 Cylinder.

I think Buffalo bore has some Ruger only loads also. It is one of the strongest 45lc single action guns on the market. Mine has the 5.5 inch barrel and I carry it in the woods for close encounters with bears and others
