Well, as usual, Bud's...
Well, as usual, Bud's was top shelf. They have earned my long-time customership.\r As for the 1764 GP-100 6" .327fed.....it is by far my favorite revolver to date. I added a GPN301 front sight.\r I have been deeply addicted to the .327fed since 2010 and heavily invested, I have most .327fed revolver\r configurations ever made, including the GP-100 4" .327fed.\r The front sight 'system' is the greatest idea I have seen/used on any firearm, I wish more mfg's would use it.\r The 4" GP is awesome [my wifes' favorite revolver] and she thought this 6" was a bit heavy......until she held \r it several times. It is very well balanced, and when you shoot it a few cylinders it is easy to forget how much it\r weighs, and recoil is almost non-existent. Very accurate, super tight lock-up, awesome trigger staging in DA,\r great barrel crown, all around good quality. Easy target acquisition, the GPN301 front sight is a huge plus.\r There are many after-market grip stocks available, some very fancy, but the rubber Hogue work perfectly.\r Hammer spur could use some smoothing on the edges [hello Ruger]. Overall 5 stars-two thumbs up.\r P.S. The 6" GP-100 .327fed is not easy to find......Thank you Bud's.
