The Ruger LCR is a lightweight, small-frame double-action revolver chambered in .22 LR and fitted with a factory Crimson Trace LaserGrip. Its eight-shot cylinder, compact 1.87-inch barrel, and smooth trigger make it well suited to convenient carry, practice, and recreational shooting. The revolver combines an aluminum frame with Ruger's monolithic frame design and a polymer fire-control housing to keep weight low while maintaining dependable operation. What a fun little...
What a fun little gun!! Much more accurate than you would think a revolver with a barrel that in under 2 inches. The trigger is a little heavier than its 38 caliber version (I got that one also) but is still very good. I bought this a trainer for my wife and kids to use, BUT it is a great little pocket gun to throw in your pocket for a walk in the woods. I would never use a 22 for defensive purposes BUT if a 22 was all someone could shoot this may be the gun for them. The Crimson Trace grip is great and worth the extra money in my opinion. The only negative.... THE FRONT SIGHT IS ALL BLACK AND USELESS UNLESS YOU ARE SHOOTING AT A POLARBEAR!! I ordered a High Viz front sight and I will see how it works. Update to follow.
