We are overwhelmed...
We are overwhelmed today with firearms that have nylon grips, aluminum frames and polymer coatings. These may be okay for some, but I am old school and really appreciate the enduring qualities of polished steel and hardwood. When it comes to quality, Ruger delivers. The design, materials and workmanship on this revolver are excellent. I am very impressed with the fit up of mating machined parts and the surface finish is flawless. Cylinder gap is only .004" and the bore has a mirror finish. The balance and ergonomics are very nice. I shot over 300 rounds through it without a hitch. It is nice being able to run 22 shorts through it as well. The action worked like clockwork, trigger is very predictable and had no failures to fire. The fiber optic sights are a big plus for me. The only negative is that the Williams rear sight is about .015" undersize from the milled slot it rides in. As a result you get a bit of wobble. This can be corrected in about 10 minutes by inserting a plastic shim trimmed down to the right profile between the sight and frame. This is a beautiful handgun that really gets noticed and will certain to be a family heirloom.

Single action rimfire...
Single action rimfire lovers will love this little gun. Love mine. Like the slim grips, bright sights and ten rounds. If you like your single six you will like this fun gun. Can shoot a lot with inexpensive 22 ammo and great gun for beginners and us old guys too.
