45 colt seems to be...
45 colt seems to be operating well, the 45 acp only strikes the primer, hard enough to fire, half the time, I have to keep firing for 2 & 3 revolutions of the cylinder, to get them all to fire. I contacted Ruger and they want me to send it to them for inspection.

When this revolver...
When this revolver arrived I loaded it with snap caps to check it out. With .45 Colt snap caps no problem but wit .45 ACP snap caps the cylinder was binding at some spots. Sent it to back to Ruger and got about a two week turn around. The headspace was adjusted and it now works flawlessly with both types of ammo. With the weight and grips it tames the recoil of even the most stout .45 Colt loads and is really fun to shoot with .45 ACP. Bud's shipping and service was as always great. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have a S&W 629 4"...
I have a S&W 629 4" .44 magnum. I decided i wanted another double action with a little more horsepower. I picked up the Ruger Redhawk 4.2" in .45 Colt. As Handlosders know the .45 Colt can far outpace the .44 magnum. For a factory gun the Redhawk is the obvious choice. Its strength is impressive. The gun I received from Buds was perfect. The only thing I replaced were the grips for better shock absorption. I have bought a few firearms from Buds. I am highly satisfied and will make any upcoming purchase from them.
