When you pull the...
When you pull the hammer back slowly the hammer sear engages before the cylinder is aligned allowing the revolver to fire out of timing. You have make sure to pull back another 1/8th in for a third click. You can also rotate the cylinder by hand to engage the lock when it's cocked. This makes the firearm unsafe to fire.

Like all Rugers it a solid gun, shoots well and accurate too, Though its seems to be a step down from the original single fire Rugers due to looks and feel, but it's basically half the price. Not sure I would purchase another or not.
