A beast that shoots...
A beast that shoots beautifully. More of a truck gun than a carry gun. If you are going to keep it in your home you'll have to treat it like a shotgun. Or use .45 Long colts.

The S & W Governor is...
The S & W Governor is exactly what I expected. It feels good in my hand. The model I purchased has Crimson Trace Grips and they are very comfortable. The weapon has an obvious kick with both the 410 shotgun shell and the 45 acp round, but in reality not as bad as I had expected. I live on a river and this weapon is going to be a great varmit gun as wel as a home and personal protection handgun. My wife has fired this gun as well and seemed to enjoy it, although after 3 rounds she had had enough for one time. She is however looking forward to her next opportunity. I would highly recommend this weapon for almost any use. Depending on the choice of rounds a real good holster is recommended for concealed carry.
