A: Buds claims to not open new firearm packages so it will be your FFL that will probably be the point of verification. if Buds ships it, it probably will have it as I don't think Buds is willing to catch a violation over this.

A: Hi Charles, No it is very minimal on the recoil. The longer barrel will actually help more with the recoil/blowback also.

A: Charles the shorter barrel will have slightly more recoil due in part to the lighter weight and louder muzzle blast from the directional gasses being vented rather than expelled straight forward. It won't be too bad but, will be noticeable.

A: While the effect on recoil will be small between barrel length the muzzle rise and blast will be much greater on the short barre which will make "felt" recoil greater in. in some people Much greater

A: Yes, this and all other S&W revolvers chambered in .500 or .460 are built on the X-Frame.

A: There are many "simple" holsters that will fit a 4" barrel revolver. Inexpensive. They will be multi-gun fit. Uncle Mikes makes inside and outside the belt nylon holsters. If you want it to fit the price goes up. Depends on what you want out of your holster.
