As a Smith and Wesson...
As a Smith and Wesson collector, I am disappointed in the quality control of Smith and Wesson. The new in the case model 69 I received had two flaws that should have not passed inspection. The first was the grips on the firearm were defective. The mounting screw stud is plastic and was completely broken \\r\ away from the grip. The second issue was that the top right side of the barrel had been buffed out to much during fabrication, leaving a dip or wave in the \\r\ metal. This obviously happened prior to the bead blasting process. I have never had a Smith and Wesson shipped out this way, but I can see that in the future, \\r\ I would prefer to see the gun in person before taking the chance of buying one sight on seen again.
