We bought this...
We bought this revolver as a purse carry for my wife who has shot handguns only a few times. She will use this handgun in all of her training. At personal defense range out to 7 yards, she is able to produce 3 inch 5 shot groups with handload 148 grain wadcutters and 140 grain XTP hollow point bullets. These are mid-range handloads which produce recoil within her tolerance range. The laser works great in indoors, cloudy outdoors, and low-light conditions. The trigger on this revolver is heavy. The trigger pull weight is the safety mechanism. I lightly lubricated the trigger friction points with a light oil moly lubricant which has rendered a much smoother trigger pull after dry firing about 300 times. I would recommend this light weight revolver as a personal defense weapon for any adults who require a small weapon and/or are unfamiliar with semi-automatic handguns, or who are otherwise challenged to proficiently operate a semi-auto under duress.

Trigger pull not...
Trigger pull not overly stiff but much less smoother than I expected. Fixed sights terrible - hard to find and line up visually. Laser easy to adjust and serviceable out to my 10 yard practice distance. Accurate enough shooter but overall somewhat disappointing.

I purchased this...
I purchased this revolver for my wife. This is her first gun. The .38 is a bit hot for her, but I installed a Hogue grip (in pink) and that has helped. We've gone to the range and she is getting used to it. The Crimson Trace laser is good, but I'm training my wife to aim and not be dependent on it. I've shot it and for a short barrel, it is accurate enough. My wife is very pleased with it.
